By Air

Edinburgh is well connected by air with regular flights from the Republic of Ireland, the UK and Europe. Edinburgh Airport is located just to the west of the city. From the airport, take either a taxi (£5 - £10) or use the Airlink bus (Route No.100) which stops at the stadium.

By Rail

Edinburgh Waverly is ten minutes' walk from Murrayfield and is well-served by Virgin, GNER and ScotRail services. Cheap deals are available for early bookers - see the train companies' websites for further details or visit http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/.

By Road

From the West

Travel eastwards on the M8 until Junction 1 at Hermiston on the A720 ringroad. Take the first left signed 'Gogar or City Centre'. Continue for about one mile to the Gogar roundabout and take the second exit signposted 'Maybury or City Centre'. Continue straight along the A8 for approx four miles. The stadium should be visible on your right as you pass the zoo and is signposted.

From the South

All major routes (A68, A7, A70, A71, A702) from the south into Edinburgh meet the A720 city bypass. Continue west on this until the Gogar roundabout and follow the instructions above for travelling from the west.

From the North

Take the M9 towards Edinburgh and continue its junction with the M8 at Newbridge. From the Newbridge roundabout, take the A8 signposted for the City Centre and continue past the Royal Highland Showground and the airport towards the Gogar roundabout. Before reaching the roundabout, move into the outside lane and use the underpass to bypass it. Carry straight on and follow the instructions above for travelling from the west.

From Princes Street

Drive westbound (the only option) along Princes Street and then onto Shandwick Place. As you approach Haymarket, all traffic is directed left off West Maitland St and then right onto Morrison St till you are facing a forked junction at Haymarket Station. Take the right hand fork past the Haymarket Arms pub and continue until the stadium appears on your left.

Local Transport

Bus numbers 31, 26, 69, 85 and 86 all pass close to the stadium.
