City Information Out and About Ground Guide
Introduction Travel Accommodation Did you know?
Few cities have changed so much over the past two decades as Dublin. In that time Ireland has risen from being the poorest to the second richest member nation of the European Union and Dublin has come to symbolise that rebirth. Many of the city's historic buildings have been refurbished and contracts are sought by the world's finest architects. Yet despite now having a population numbering over one million Dublin still retains some small-town charm.

Scores of bars, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance, and Lansdowne Road is only three stops on the DART from the city centre - although rugby fans won't be using it for a while during the stadium's redevelopment!

Dublin is also steeped in culture from James Joyce and WB Yeats to U2. Oh, and there is the small matter of Guinness to be enjoyed!
