The students beat City of Derry on a scoreline of 31-19 in the final at Deramore Park this afternoon. The Belfast youngsters were one of the pre-tournament favourites on the basis that Sevens rugby suits their style of play.
Both sides now qualify for the All-Ireland Club Sevens finals which take place in St. Mary's College RFC on Saturday, May 21.
In the plate final, newly-crowned Ulster Bank League Division 2 winners Ballynahinch (see below) capped a very good season with a win over Instonians.
