Grand Slam winners Fiona Coghlan and Nora Stapelton have returned the Women's RBS 6 Nations trophy to Chief Executive John Feehan at the Six Nations offices in Dublin.
The three charities raise money to help deal with life threatening injuries for both professional and amateur players within the sport. To date over €300,000 has been raised through the Legends Series of games.
The Legends aim to sell out this highly competitive clash with a capacity crowd at Donnybrook. The Irish will be challenging for the Stuart Mangan Memorial Cup, currently held by the English Legends who claimed the trophy at the Stoop last year.
Tickets start at €10, concessions/students and children €5, and are on sale from www.ticketmaster.ie, Spar Donnybrook and the Leinster Rugby Store.
A star-studded Ireland Legends squad has been named for the match, led by captain Shane Byrne. Trevor Brennan, Girvan Dempsey, Nick Popplewell, Malcolm O'Kelly, Mick Galwey and many other legends are due to see action on the pitch.
The England Legends team will be led by Martin Corry, with Jason Leonard, Lawrence Dallaglio, Kyran Bracken, Josh Lewsey and Austin Healy providing ample support.
Speaking ahead of the game, Irish skipper Shane Byrne said: "All the boys are looking forward to our return game and we are hoping for a capacity crowd at Donnybrook to watch us get our boots back on - as you can imagine we are in full training in anticipation of reclaiming the Stuart Mangan Cup, well...certainly in full training for the post-match celebrations!
"To relive our younger days, have the opportunity to play old rivals and to be able to do so in aid of charities that allow all of us to give back to the rugby community is a great privilege and one which we hope you will share and enjoy. See you there!"
With generous team sponsorship from reinsurance group Validus Re, this promises to be another fun-filled, memorable evening.
