The Ireland U19 squad to face Australia Schools at Ravenhill on Saturday 14th December has been announced.
Replacements: Tom Burke, Ed Rossiter, Darragh Frawley, Tim Rafferty, Alan Rossiter.
Replacements: Conor Scannell, Chris Corkery, Dave O'Brien, Brendan Cuttriss, Cathal Quinn.
Lawler, playing at outside centre, showed he still has what it takes on the pitch by scoring a brilliant try as the Red Robins claimed the scalp of Constitution with a display full of power and pace.
In recent seasons the Limerick side have suffered many setbacks at the hands of Cork Con, but this time they were deserving winners with a last-minute try not enough for Brian Walsh's side to claim a losing bonus point.
One of Bohs' rising stars, out-half JJ Hanrahan, gave them the lead from a fourth-minute penalty before his Munster colleague Scott Deasy replied for the visitors.
With Sean Henry, captain Ed Kelly and Tommy O'Donnell standing out in the pack, UL stretched into a 13-3 lead for half-time thanks to a Hanrahan-converted penalty try and his second penalty. Constitution also had full-back Darragh Lyons sin-binned during this spell.
Lawler's superbly-taken try followed just seven minutes after the restart, finishing off a fine move in the left corner to give the hosts further momentum.
The returning Lyons then dotted down for the second week running to bring the Leesiders back into contention. He broke onto a clever grubber kick from Deasy to score in the 70th minute.
But experienced right winger Martin McPhail made certain of the points for Bohs with a try five minutes later widening the margin to 23-8, before Deasy converted Robert Clune's consolation effort.
