Top referee Nigel Owens from Wales has been appointed to take charge of this year's RaboDirect PRO12 final between Leinster and Glasgow Warriors. It will be his 111th league game and second final following the 2011 decider (Munster v Ospreys).
Nigel Owens has plenty of big match experience having taken charge of three Heineken Cup and two Amlin Challenge Cup finals in the past, along with 13 Six Nations matches and eight Tri Nations (Rugby Championship) games as well as being named in the IRB panel for two Rugby World Cups (2007 and 2011).
