The development of the new online store is the biggest development, with a new shopping and delivery system coming online today (Wednesday, 17th November) on the official IRFU website, irishrugby.ie.
The new system will deliver a faster and more efficient way for Irish fans at home and around the world to purchase official Irish merchandise and will also offer a larger selection of up to date team kit, jerseys etc. The online shop will carry the complete range of Official IRFU Canterbury Clothing and will be updated daily with special offers on particular ranges of clothing.
A further development in the near future will be the sale of an exclusive IRFU product line available only through the online shop and Elverys stores.
Other aspects to the partnership will see Elverys Sports develop and manage the two new stadium shops in Lansdowne Road and also the merchandising and sale of the Official IRFU Canterbury Clothing line through 10 stores in their nationwide chain in Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Kilkenny.
