Rob, a robust and aggressive centre, played for the Exiles in the U20 Inter-Provincila Championships. He also featured in a number of Ireland U21 trials but never won a cap.

Rob who has been a member of London Irish since he was a youngster played a number of premeirship games for London Irish but was released at the end of the season.

Rob's younger brother Ed an Ireland U19 International was also released by London Irish and has joined London Welsh.
