Gordon D'Arcy has been ruled out of the Ireland squad after sustaining a groin injury in the first Test in Bloemfontein on Saturday. He will be replaced by Munster's Shaun Payne.
Gordon D'Arcy who was forced to retire in the 30th minute of the first Test in
Bloemfontein on Saturday will take no further part in the tour and he will be replaced in the squad by Munster's
Shaun Payne.
Payne, who is from Cape Town, but qualified to play for Ireland through Sligo grandparents, was at the game on Saturday as a spectator while on vacation.
He will join up with the squad on Monday in Cape Town as they prepare for the second and final Test next Saturday.
