IRFU Chief Executive Philip Browne has issued a statement following confirmation of Ronan O'Gara's decision to retire from playing professional rugby.

There are three changes to the side which beat Newport Gwent Dragons last week at the Sportsground. David Gannon comes in for injured captain Andrew Farley in the second row.
Hooker Adrian Flavin will captain the side for the first time. In the back row, Colm Rigney is named at number eight, while Michael McCarthy is named at blindside flanker. John Muldoon and Ray Ofisa are the players to make way. Keith Matthews returns from a groin injury and is named among the replacements.
