Wendy Hickey joined the Connacht Branch as a Youth Development Officer three years ago and has been working with both Primary and Secondary Schools in Galway city.

"Tag rugby has been an outstanding success in both the Primary and Secondary Schools. The girls pick up the game so quickly, and will hopefully continue on to play Tag or contact rugby in the future," Hickey commented.

Minister Frank Fahey presented the Fair Play award to the Chicken Pox team from Scoil Rois, as well as the Player of the tournament award to Abi Dempsey, who is in 4th class in Scoil Rois.
