Grand Slam winners Fiona Coghlan and Nora Stapelton have returned the Women's RBS 6 Nations trophy to Chief Executive John Feehan at the Six Nations offices in Dublin.
It is another astute signing by Connacht coach Michael Bradley who is hoping to turn around the westerners' fortunes after a disappointing season which saw them fail to qualify for the European Challenge Cup's knockout stages and finish second-from-bottom in the Magners League.
Bibo was an underage star in Australia, playing at schoolboy level for Queensland and the national side, and also being capped at Under-19 and Under-21 levels internationally.
The absence of Paul Warwick and Mark McHugh from the Connacht squad next season may pave the way for Bibo, who stands at 5ft 11in and weighs in at 13st 9lbs, to take on the goal-kicking responsibilities for the province.
