Connacht coach Michael Bradley have selected a 24-man squad for the game against Glasgow as the westerners bid to kickstart their Magners League campaign.

Connacht captain John Muldoon says that the visit of Glasgow to the Sportsground is a key game for his men.

"It is a massive match and one we must win. We were very disappointed with our performance away to the Scarlets and we want to correct that," said the back rower.

"We are now in our own backyard and we want to show our fans what we can do. Glasgow are a very good side, they have 15 or 16 internationals in their squad.

"But this is one we need to win and with the crowd behind us we can do that."

Connacht's next home match after Friday will be against defending league campaigns Leinster on Sunday, October 5 (kick off 6pm) and tickets for this game are currently on sale.
