Wendy Hickey, WCRO for Connacht, is delighted with the uptake. "I am thrilled with the response the girls' Tag rugby has gotten over the past few weeks," she said.
"The girls absolutely love it, and I am hoping more will join next Saturday. The girls also got to meet Ireland International Carol Staunton who came to train the girls on the day.
"The session is only an hour and is all game-based, so the girls learn the basics and develop their skills through a variety of fun games and activities."
Training takes place on Saturday mornings for girls aged 6-12 from 10am to 11am. If you have any queries, please contact email@example.com.
