IRFU Chief Executive Philip Browne has issued a statement following confirmation of Ronan O'Gara's decision to retire from playing professional rugby.

Galwegians prop Ronan Loughney is the only change to the matchday 22, as he takes his place amongst the replacements.
The following players were not considered by the Connacht management due to injury: Tim Donnelly (shoulder), John Hearty (hip), John Lyne (hand), Ray Ofisa (arm), Conor O'Loughlin (shoulder), Michael Swift (kidney) and Aidan Wynne (hamstring).
