Ulster certainly got the right result. Their 18-6 defeat of Connacht moved them a step closer to gaining Heineken Cup qualification and it also got Matt Williams' reign back on the track after recent heavy defeats to Munster and the Ospreys.
Court was glad to get an 80-minute run-out against Connacht after he was sin-binned in both of Ulster's previous games. A scuffle on the touchline led to him being yellow carded against Munster, while he was harshly sin-binned for a minor infringement last time out in Swansea.
"I had a bit of a rush of blood to the head against Munster and I took my punishment. In our last game (against the Ospreys), it was a bit unfortunate," said the Ireland 'A' international.
With an automatic one-week suspension hanging over him, Court made sure he was on his best behaviour against the westerners.
"That left me felling a little bit nervous going into this game, particularly when you look at what happened in the previous match.
"We had a lot of talk about keeping our discipline this week. I have never had a lot of cards before so I was glad to have made it through the whole game."
Court will only have fond memories when he looks back on Ulster's second win of the season over Connacht.
Happy to be getting a run in the Ulster team, he added: "The try...it was definitely one for the front row union, but I am just glad to be out there and playing. I have work to do on my game and it is a matter of keeping the head down and the bum up!"
