To facilitate a smooth implementation of the ELVs into the Irish rugby system, the IRFU, in conjunction with the provincial Branches, will be implementing a series of education initiatives to up skill coaches and referees in the interpretation of the Law variations.
In mid July, the IRFU will be running a series of ELV Seminars for ALL rugby clubs in the four provinces.
By invitation from your Branch, key club coaching staff will be invited to attend a two hour 'Refereeing and ELV Workshop', conducted by the IRFU Referee Department.
Venues for these seminars will be confirmed very shortly.
These changes in the laws of the game will have a profound effect on the nature of the game. The IRFU very strongly advise all club coaching co-ordinators to attend their relevant Branch workshop.
