When the full-time hooters sounded in the afternoon, these two grades commenced their in the play-off stages as grade B kicked off at two-thirty. There was lots of celebrating as the victors all high-fived their way up to the clubhouse for some well-earned refreshments and join the huge crowd already settled in after their groups had finished.
The A grade got going after four o'clock bringing proceedings on to their conclusion later that evening.
All finals were very keenly contested with teams coming from each of the 21 Bud Light Tag venues around Ireland and with referees from each branch of the IRFU, this event was a fantastic example of all that is great about Bud Light Tag.
As the sun began to set it was time for the Trophy Presentations when former Ireland and Munster lock, Mick Galwey, who is also the IRFU's Tag Ambassador, presented teams with their silverware and medals.
Following the celebrations and photo-shoots, the All-Ireland party continued on into the night with the host club an expert in providing a great night to tag players.
We would like to congratulate all who won, comiserate all who came in as runners-up and thank EVERYONE who took part in playing, spectating, volunteering and of course, refereeing.
Special thanks to all at Suttonians RFC for the great venue before, during and after. Suttonians played a massive part in the success of this, the largest ever All-Ireland the IRFU have run yet.
