There are six uncapped players in the Ireland squad for the summer tour to North America that was named this morning. An Emerging Ireland squad has also been selected for the Tblisi Cup in Georgia.
With over 20 clubs confirmed participation; the day itself will welcome both visitors old and new and at all age levels. Events can range from barbeques, garden fetes, entertainment, to tag and tip rugby competitions.
Looking ahead to this year's Club Open Days, Leinster Domestic Rugby Manager Philip Lawlor commented, "We're hoping for a big attendance across Leinster in each club to help kick off the new season and encourage interest in rugby.
"Every club's success is down to the support of its players, club volunteers and match supporters and we hope to grow that support across Leinster with our open days."
