IRFU Confirm Nacewa Contract Is In Line With Policy

The IRFU have confirmed that Isa Nacewa's new contract with Leinster is in line with their policy on non-Irish eligible players

The Irish Rugby Football Union has clarified that the PCRG (Professional Contracts Review Group), following discussions with Leinster Rugby, approved the extension of Isa Nacewa's contract on March 27 last and that the contract is in line with the non-eligible player policy framework.
"While we are absolutely committed to the primacy of the national team, something that all of the provinces agree with, the PCRG will continue to show discretion on the management of the policy when working with, and supporting, our provinces in their quest for ongoing success in the RaboDirect PRO12 and Heineken Cup."
