"We hope to have Keith somewhere in the mix on Thursday," said head coach Tony McGahan, who will not make a decision until training has been completed tomorrow.
Ronan O'Gara (dead leg) will remain behind but is expected to be fit in time for the province's final game of the league phase against Ulster on May 5.
However, his international colleague David Wallace remains sidelined having aggravated the knee injury he sustained when playing for Ireland against England last August.
The Munster squad, including the retiring Mick O'Driscoll, will complete their prepations for the Scarlets tie in Cork tomorrow before flying to Bristol on Friday.
