Munster 'A' will field a formidable front row trio of Marcus Horan, Damien Varley and BJ Botha, with young tyros Dave Foley and Ian Nagle behind them.

Cork Constitution lock Philip Donnellan is listed among the replacements alongside Academy players Dave Kilcoyne, Brian O'Hara and JJ Hanrahan.

Meanwhile, Munster hooker Mike Sherry's first game, since returning from New Zealand, ended badly when he sprained his ankle playing for Garryowen in the Ulster Bank League last weekend.

The injury to his left leg will rule him out for the immediate future. He is expected to undergo further examination later this week to determine the full extent of the injury.
