Munster prop BJ Botha has been cited by an independent citing commissioner for an incident of foul play which occurred during last Saturday's RaboDirect PRO12 match against the Ospreys at Thomond Park.
South African international
BJ Botha, who came on as a second half replacement for the province, has been cited for striking an opponent with the head contrary to Law 10(4)(a).
Meanwhile, the Ospreys' stand-in captain Justin Tipuric has been cited for a dangerous tackle in the same game which was contrary to Law 10(4)(j).
Hearings for both players will be held before an independent RaboDirect PRO12 disciplinary panel at a date to be confirmed in due course.
