The Magners League triumph last May was Munster's second in three seasons, and their third in total.

They beat Leinster, the newly-crowned Heineken Cup champions, 19-9 in what was a pulsating game of rugby in a packed Thomond Park.

Last November the Australians came to Limerick and faced an ocean of red in the stands and red hot intensity on the pitch from a home side led by James Coughlan.

Australian Paul Warwick, playing in his final season for the province, scored all of Munster's 15 points against his national side.
