IRFU Chief Executive Philip Browne has issued a statement following confirmation of Ronan O'Gara's decision to retire from playing professional rugby.

With 15 teams playing four league games during the day, there were trophies for everyone taking part to subsequently compete for.
The Finals in each competition went as follows:-
Spoon Final
Tag My Arf 5-6 Citi Sharks
Bowl Final
Tubbies 9-1 The Crew
Plate Final
Jungle Cats 4-5 Leagles (golden try Leagles)
Cup Final
Mengal Taggers 5-4 Rollo Pollo Rustlers (golden try Mengal Taggers)
A special 'Spirit of the Game' trophy was also awarded to the 'Arthur Cox' team.
Afterwards, it was off to the Anchor Bar for Trophy presentations, a bit to eat and late music into the night. Another great year in this part of the island and an indicator of more things to come in future.
Beach Tag, 5-a-side form of Tag rugby is played by mixed teams of men and women and a very popular break away for all who take part, whether as players or spectators.
There are now three more Beach Tag events to take place and registration at each costs only 175 EUROs per team.

Saturday 6th August, Curracloe Beach, Co.Wexford
Saturday 20th August, Ventry Beach, Co.Kerry
