Leinster's Community Rugby Officers are actively coaching in secondary schools and rugby clubs, using the IRFU's 'Play Rugby' programme to increase female participation.
'Play Rugby' is a great way to get secondary school girls involved with rugby in a safe and controlled environment.
The programme creates a pathway to enable schools and clubs to work together in increasing female participation in rugby.

In an historic first, at the recent Heineken Cup match between Leinster v Clermont Auvergne at the Aviva Stadium, the Under-15 girls from Portlaoise and Cill Dara played a half-time exhibition game which was a great way to promote girls rugby within the province.
