IRFU Launches 'Join Our Club' Initiative

Rugby clubs around Ireland are in the first flush of pre-season training and many are seeing expanding player numbers and an increased awareness of and interest in the game. The IRFU has recently provided every club in Ireland with a new 'Join Our Club' pack to help them recruit new members.
Building on that success, the IRFU is committed to developing, promoting and supporting rugby in our community.
Most rugby clubs in Ireland traditionally hold 'an Open Day' at the beginning of the season. With this in mind, the IRFU has developed a number of resources to support the promotion of your club, helping you to kick off the season strongly.
The IRFU has provided every club in Ireland with a 'JOIN OUR CLUB' pack. The pack includes posters and flyers that can be customised for each club. The pack also includes Child Welfare information for the parents of prospective young players starting Leprechaun or Mini rugby.
The poster can also be downloaded from this article and customised for each club.
IRFU Domestic Game Chairman Stephen Hilditch said: "I hope every club will use the marketing resources in a way that best suits them and that it will assist in recruiting new members and encourage returning members."
