The Irish Rugby Football Union today announced ticket prices for the Guinness Series 2013 and a pre-sale to Supporters Club members, which will open on 30th May.
What do choirs need to do to enter?
Ideally send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a link to performance video footage via:
- YouTube channels or single video uploads
- MySpace pages
- Google video
Attachments of less than 5MB (ideally!), .MOV .MPG .AVI files are acceptable too and while we accept sound files, video performance is preferred as it helps give the best representation of a choir's star quality!
The audition song should be one to best represent how the Aviva Choir will get the crowd singing along and enhance the party atmosphere on matchday.
Song choice and performance style is down to the choir - from the most traditional to modern innovators - all are welcome, but remember, the repertoire and style should match the occasion!
On matchday, a maximum of 32 singers can take part in the performance. The prize will also include transport to and from the Aviva Stadium as well as match tickets for all choir members.
Entrants can range in age and experience and can be based anywhere in Ireland. Choirs can sing in any vocal style from classical to pop, folk to funk and anywhere in between.
Entries will be accepted until Wednesday, June 30 and the top five choirs, chosen by an independent judging panel, will be announced on Friday, July 2.
The top five choirs will be featured on the Ian Dempsey Show on Today FM from Monday, July 5 to Friday, July 9 when the public will have the chance to vote for their favourite performers.
