As of last week, only 5,000 tickets remain for the visit of Robbie Deans' Wallabies side to the famous Limerick venue.
The last time Munster entertained an international team was exactly two years ago, almost to the day, when they came within seconds of lowering the colours of New Zealand in front of a spellbound crowd.
An injury-time drop goal from Jim Galvin steered Munster to a famous 22-19 victory over Australia when the sides met back in 1992. Munster's proud record also includes wins over the Australians in 1967 and 1980.
Former Munster captain and forwards coach Jim Williams, who has been an assistant coach with the Wallabies since June 2008, is looking forward to returning to Thomond Park for next month's fixture.
"It will be a huge night. Knowing the passion the people of Munster have for the game, and how they get behind their team, it's going to be a massive match for us," he said.
"Matches against international sides are rare for provincial or club teams these days, and you saw what it meant to Munster two years ago when they last had the opportunity to play an international side. They led the All Blacks until late in the game before going down 18-16.
"That was a cracking game. The atmosphere inside Thomond Park looked incredible, and it surely lifted the players, as it will again when we play there."
