Sheahan, who celebrated his 27th birthday last Wednesday, will be represented by solicitor Paul Derham and senior counsel Paul Gallagher and they will put their case to a three man Appeal Committee comprising, Jeff Blackett (England) who will chair the meeting, former England international Jeff Probyn (England) and Dr. Rogers Evans (Wales). The Appeal Committe has been selected by Prof. Lorne Crerar who chaired the Judicial Tribunal that handed down the two-year ban.
The proceedings will get underway at 3.30pm this afternoon at the ERC headquarters at Huguenot House and it is thought unlikely that the exercise will conclude today.
