Ulster suffered a surprise defeat in their Celtic League opener, as their defence let them down and saw them lose 41-30 to the Neath-Swansea Ospreys at the Gnoll.
Ulster led 21-16 at half-time in what was their opponents' first ever competitive outing. Ulster's first half points came from Shane Stewart, Ronan McCormack and Andy Ward with Paddy Wallace converting all three tries.
The second half was all about the Ospreys with a converted try from Full-back Adrian Durston and two tries from out-half Gavin Henson, who then kicked the remaining points to give the Welsh the win.
