Prop Cian Healy is expected to miss the start of the 2014 RBS 6 Nations after undergoing surgery on his injured ankle on Wednesday.
It promises to be a fascinating game with Leinster set to perform in the extraordinary circumstances of a sell-out Lansdowne Road - a huge tribute to the hard work of Leinster Chief Executive Michael Dawson - and with the partisan crowd behind them Leinster will be at short-odds with the bookies to make it through to the semi-final.
Not that Matt Williams will be in any way complacent about the task his side faces. Biarritz are a good side who have, unlike Leinster, been playing regularly over the past number of weeks, they are at full strength and will relish the opportunity of setting up a semi against Perpignan back home.
