Ireland Under-19 skipper Kearney was to the fore as UCD narrowly overcame their Dublin student rivals Trinity in a well-contested final.
Recently-crowned All-Ireland champions Trinity go off to a flying start as left winger Michael Kavanagh was freed up to nip in for a fourth-minute try.
Fly-half Johnny Watt tailed the conversion wide and was ultimately out-gunned by Kearney in the kicking stakes.
The UCD full-back drew over four penalties either side of the interval to put the Belfield side, captained by Ireland Under-21 Stephen Grissing, in front.
The win was secured in injury-time when fly-half Lett dropped a 25-metre drop goal.
Earlier this season, UCD's youngsters claimed the JP Fanagan Premier Divison League title for the third successive season.
