Being community-based, Ashbourne RFC has assisted other local clubs in the use of the facilities. Ashbourne United FC has made arrangements to play their home games at Milltown. Other local clubs such as the GAA and the Special Olympics have also used the ground.
The IRFU and the Leinster Branch have recognised the quality of facilities through the use of the grounds by both Irish and provincial squads.
