Padraig Power, Commercial & Marketing Director of the IRFU, stated that 'mobile phone applications are a logical next step in our digital strategy, and PUBLISH-i has delivered a solution which allows us to extend our traditional match programme to a much wider audience.'
He added: "By using innovative platforms such as this, we can build better connections with our supporters and keep them continuously informed with news and information about Irish rugby, both at a local and international level."
Philip Lynch, Joint CEO of PUBLISH-i, said: "We are delighted to be able to support the Irish rugby team and the IRFU in this venture and bring this traditionally time-sensitive publication to a much wider audience.
"By using our automated smart-phone publishing technology, we're helping the IRFU to seamlessly deliver an official match programme to supporters beyond the boundaries of the stadium, helping them to connect with thousands of supporters in Ireland and abroad."
