The victory exceeded the Wallabies previous highest score of 76-0 recorded against a weakened England side in Brisbane in 1998.
In a game played on the national holiday of All Saints Day the Wallabies showed little compassion for the Spaniards, who were out-classed in all departments.
Australia ran in 13 tries - including a hat-trick from Chris Latham in front of a 8,000 crowd at the Campo Central in Madrid's University City.
Spain played their part too with some brave counter attacking play and thoroughly deserved their 66th minute try from lock Jose Miguel Villau.
The game will have provided the Wallabies with little more than a light work out ahead of their more demanding internationals on their European tour and it is hard to see what benefit will have accrued to the home side in the development of the game in Spain.
