In Division Two there were wins for Old Crescent over Bective Rangers while UL Bohemians remain in promotion contention with victory over Sunday's Well in Musgrave Park.
In Saturday action, St Mary's crashed to a 17-14 defeat away to Lansdowne in a game that saw seven players, two from Lansdowne, five from Mary's, sin-binned.
Co Carlow lost their three year unbeaten home record when they went down by the narrowest of margins, 16-15, to DLSP while Ballymena slipped to third from bottom after losing 16-6 to Terenure College at Lakelands.
In Division Two there was a welcome win for City of Derry who triumphed 17-6 over Thomond.
There was a full programme of games in Division Three with shock of the day coming at Dr Hickey Park where the leaders Greystones were beaten 22-19 by Suttonians. Dublin University moved top by virtue of their 32-12 win over Waterpark and there was a welcome change of fortune for bottom placed Naas who won 14-9 in Rifle Park to move up a place at the expense of the side they defeated, Banbridge.
