Four Ireland players - Brian O'Driscoll, Jonathan Sexton, Paul O'Connell and Jamie Heaslip - have been included in the British & Irish Lions team for Saturday's first Test against Australia in Brisbane.
Not surprisingly, the newcomers include Munster lock Paul O'Connell, Leinster flanker Keith Gleeson and Paddy Wallace of Ulster, all of whom have been in such good form for their respective provinces this season.
The squad will assemble on Sunday January 13th and work through to Friday January 18th. On Tuesday January 15th the training session in the afternoon will be held at Thomond Park and will be open to the public from 3pm - 5pm.
