Marcus Horan returns from international duty to take his place in the front row. Eddie Halvey moves from flanker to take over at number 8 from the injured Jim Williams and Donncha O'Callaghan is named at blind-side flanker. Frank Sheahan has been named as hooker but is with the Irish squad at present as cover for Keith Wood.
