The final will be a Welsh/Irish affair, after Munster defeated Ulster 42-10 in Thomond Park and Neath accounted for Cardiff 32-10 less than 24 hours later at the Courage Gnoll.

Neath held a 17 point interval lead after opening half tries from Nathan Bonner-Evans and Dave Tiueti.

In the second half Cardiff staged something of a revival to close the gap to seven (17-10) but it was a case of 'flattering to deceive' as Neath rallied to score 15 points without reply before the end.
