The Ireland Under-19 squad to face Australia Schools at Ravenhill on Saturday week (December 14) has been announced.
The Leinster squad to face the Edinburgh Gunners in the province's opening Magners League of the season in Murrayfield on Friday (KO: 7.30pm) has been named.
Argentina's Felipe Contepomi is joined by Ireland 'A' foursome Ronan McCormack, Kieran Lewis (who, if selected, could make his 50th Leinster appearance), Jamie Heaslip and Trevor Hogan.
Summer signings Harry Vermaas, Hogan, Owen Finegan, Stephen Keogh and Chris Whitaker are all named in the squad to travel to the Scottish capital as is Ireland Under-21 backrow forward Sean O'Brien for the first time.
Leinster's opponents, Edinburgh Gunners, have appointed former Wales assistant coach Lynn Howells as their Head Coach. From 1998-2001 he was Head Coach at Cardiff, during which time they were Premiership League Champions and reached the Heineken Cup quarter-finals.
Speaking about his appointment Howells said: "Edinburgh has a very talented squad of players and I am extremely excited about the prospect of working with them. My focus will now be on building a consistent level of performance on the field and I very much look forward to the challenge ahead of us in both the Magners League and Heineken Cup."
