Wanderers collected five tries on the way to an impressive 43-24 defeat of Sunday's Well on the fourth weekend of action in AIB League Division Three.
Having also thrashed their fellow Dubliners Old Wesley last Saturday, Wanderers are quickly becoming the form team in the third tier - it is a pity for them that the league breaks for the Autumn internationals.
Now coached by Kiwi Andrew Spraggon, Wanderers are playing an attractive brand of rugby and it is paying dividends as they now sit second in the table, level on points with Instonians.
Against the 'Well, they led 19-10 at the break. The hosts struck first through full-back Shane O'Sullivan - he won the race to his own kick ahead to touch down. Mark Purcell converted and added a penalty but Wanderers hit the front thanks to pack-inspired tries from number 8 Pom Simone and flanker Kolo Kiripati (2).
Simone and replacement flanker Junior Charlie, just on the field, both crossed for tries as Wanderers had the game sewn up by the hour mark. Their out-half Billy Treacy landed three conversions and four penalties.
It was six of the best at Hamilton Park as Ards ran in six tries - with Gareth Fisher, Ken Heaslip, Peter Glass and Neill Beggs amongst the scorers - in their 36-6 dismissal of Waterpark.
Corinthians fell to their third defeat of the league campaign as Brian Cahill, taking his tally for the season to 43 points, kicked four penalties in Bruff's 12-6 win over the Galway men at Kilballyowen Park.
Table-toppers Instonians ran five tries past Banbridge for a 36-22 success at Shaw's Bridge with Mark Broome (2), Adam Telford, Ashley Craig and Ben Hughes all crossing the whitewash.
A try from winger Richard Burke and two David Newman penalties saw Connemara edge out Portadown 11-9 at Monastery Field. Adam Gowing kicked three penalties for the visitors.
Number 10 Trevor Powell bagged two tries for Nenagh Ormond in their 27-24 victory over City of Derry, while 14 points from the boot of Michael Glancy and a try apiece from Neil O'Kane and Richard Paul saw Rainey Old Boys continue their impressive start to their first ever season in the AIB League.
The Magherafelt men secured their third win in four games courtesy of a 24-12 triumph over Queen's. Winger Michael Barker scored his fourth try in as many games for the Belfast students.
