The County Wicklow side continued their promotion push at Dr. Hickey Park, with wingers Darren McKenna and Ronan Carroll, centre Aaron Higgs and lock and captain Neil Megannety amongst the try scorers. That was Carroll's fourth try in sixth games.
Old Belvedere remain 'Stones' closest rivals after they saw off Highfield 23-15 at Anglesea Road - Leinster duo Richie Leyden (try) and Andy Dunne, who kicked three penalties and two conversions, played crucial roles in the win.
There was joy unconfined at Oak Park as County Carlow ended their long wait for a league win. The midlanders ended their 21-game winless streak as centre Greg Jacob's 17-point haul guided them to a 25-13 victory over Clonakilty.
Jacob kicked five penalties and converted a try from centre Reuben Colqumoun, who also dropped a goal.
There was a flurry of tries at Parsonstown as Suttonians picked up a valuable 43-25 win over hosts Barnhall. It was Suttonians' first ever league success against the Kildare men, with the sides sharing out eleven tries.
Outside centre Ronan Murphy was the hero for the visitors with a hat-trick of tries, while the victors bagged three others through hooker Anthony Ronan, winger Daire Higgins and out-half Paddy Maguire. Maguire also kicked five conversions and a penalty for an 18-point haul.
At Gibson Park, Malone ended a run of three straight defeats as they got the better of DLSP, winning 25-6. Right winger John Moutray (2), centre John Anderson and out-half Gareth Fry, who also kicked two penalties and two conversions, shared out the tries for the Belfast outfit.
UCC's 18-6 win at Midleton was set up by tries from left winger Gavin Blower (2) and full-back Finbar Dennehy, while lowly Bective secured a morale-boosting 28-21 victory at Old Crescent with out-half Fergal Campion kicking 13 points (two conversions and three penalties).
