Donncha O'Callaghan scored his second try in as many games in the Heineken Cup to help Munster to a four try, bonus point victory over Bourgoin in an exciting game in Thomond Park.
Six tries in total from Munster in an impressive and free scoring performance from the reigning Champions.
A try from Frankie Sheahan, on seven minutes, followed by Ian Dowling in the 29th and Barry Murphy five minutes later gave Munster a 20 - 3 lead at the end of the half.
Bourgoin scored early in the second half but Donncha added the bonus on 55 minutes and John Kelly went in for number five just two minutes later.
Substitute Hooker Andy Kyriacou dotted down four minutes from time to bring the Munster tally to six in total and while Bourgoin socred a consolation in the 85th minute it was Munster from start to finish in a determined and free flowing display.
Munster sit happily at the top of pool four with nine points and a healthy +20 point difference thanks in no small part to eight tries in two games.
