Grand Slam winners Fiona Coghlan and Nora Stapelton have returned the Women's RBS 6 Nations trophy to Chief Executive John Feehan at the Six Nations offices in Dublin.
A try from Maxime Mermoz converted by Charlie Pharlyhatek - who also added two penalies - had the home side in control at the end of the opening half.
They increased their advantage and sealed the outcome with further tries in the second half from winger Fabien Grimaud.
A late try from Diarmuid Laffan served as some consolation to the Irish side, their other scores coming from penalties by Darren Cave and Robert Kearney.
