    Ashleigh has quickly risen through the ranks of Irish Women's rugby since playing Tag rugby as a youngster and joining Belfast Harlequins aged 18.

    A graduate of aerospace engineering at Queen's University, she impressed in her first season with Ulster and Ireland in 2012 and featured on the right wing during the 2013 Grand Slam run. Ashleigh also played in the Women's Rugby World Cup Sevens last year.

    The youngest member of the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup squad at 22, she has been tasked with looking after team mascot 'Seamus' during Ireland's campaign in France.

    Katie has played with Ireland at in both Sevens and the 15-a-side game, having first picked up a rugby ball in secondary school. Katie was one of the founding members of the women’s team in Wexford Wanderers and now plays her club rugby with Blackrock College RFC in Dublin.

    Dubliner Stacey began her sporting career playing Gaelic Football with Dublin side Clanna Gael and she also represented her county up to Minor level.

    Her sister Kim is also a member of the Ireland Women's Sevens programme.

    Louise has excelled across a range of sports, having captained UL Huskies to multiple titles in basketball, she also captained Ireland at underage level.

    Louise has also played GAA football for her home county of Kerry, winning the Munster Championship and National League as well as representing Munster at interprovincial level. Louise is a qualified physiotherapist.

    Claire is a former Cork GAA footballer and Camogie player and has represented her county at all levels. She has also won a Club Senior Ladies All-Ireland medal with her side Inch Rovers from Cork. Claire plays her rugby with UL Bohemians and progressed from the 15-a-side game into Sevens.

    A qualified physiotherapist, Claire is currently studying medicine in RCSI.

    Lucy is the current captain of the Ireland Women’s Sevens squad and is also a talented Gaelic Footballer, having represented her native county of Wicklow where she won an All-Ireland Ladies Junior football title with them in 2011 and also plays with her university side, Trinity College, where she is a student of radiation therapy.

    In August 2015, Lucy successfully led Ireland to qualification for the World Rugby Sevens Series.

    Amee-Leigh hails from Tipperary and has represented Munster at all levels in the 15-a-side game. She progressed into the Ireland Sevens side from the underage teams.

    Amee-Leigh plays her rugby with Railway Union RFC, having started her rugby with Clanwilliam RFC in Munster.

    A pacey winger, she has an eye for the try line and is currently one of the top scorers for the Women's Sevens team.

    Audrey has come into the squad through the Talent Identification programme. Audrey splits her time between teaching and training with the Sevens side.
