Ards (12th) v Thomond (3rd), Hamilton Park
Ards come in to this game having lost their last two games but they are still comfortably out of the danger zone in 12th.
Thomond were pipped by leaders Nenagh Ormond last time out and with the pressure building behind them they need a win to maintain their 3rd place.
The Limerick side have been going well this season and you’d expect them to win on the road.
DLSP (9th) v Boyne (13th), Kirwan Park
‘Salmo are clear of any trouble with 24 points form their five wins to date this season.
Boyne have won one game less but they are flirting with the relegation zone, just two points ahead of Sligo and three clear of Inst.
A tough one to call. Boyne’s need might be greater but the home side will be good value for a win.
Midleton (10th) v Greystones (2nd), Towns Park
Five wins and twenty two points for Midleton and another side safe in mid table.
Greystones have plenty to play for – six points behind the league leaders and four points ahead of the team in third. If they keep winning one of the automatic slots will be theirs.
The trip to Towns Park should prove fruitful for Greystones.
Nenagh Ormond (1st) v Armagh (5th), New Ormond Park
The league leaders against one of the chasing pack – this one could be a real cracker, with lots riding on it.
The home side are still unbeaten, though they edged their last game by a point away to Thomond.
Armagh would dearly like to cause an upset and leapfrog Skerries and Thomond but a home win is more likely.
Richmond (8th) v Instonians (15th), Richmond Park
Richmond are another side that are safe in mid table – twenty five points from their five wins.
Inst. are in a backs to the wall slot and will have to come out fighting if they want to climb out of the relegation playoff slot.
Both sides lost last weekend but on form you’d have to back the hosts.
Sunday’s Well (11th) v Navan (7th), Musgrave Park
The Well lost heavily to Skerries in their last outing but they have climbed out of the relegation dogfight.
Navan could still have a shot at promotion, albeit there is a sizeable queue ahead of them.
An away win would keep the Co. Meath side in the mix if they can take it.
Suttonians (16th) v Sligo (14th), JJ McDowell Memorial Grounds
A game with a lot at stake in the relegation battle. Suttonians need a win if they are to stand any chance of getting off the bottom.
They’ve brought in former Ireland international Steve McIvor and their result against Armagh shows there are green shoots.
Sligo also need a win if they are to avoid slipping into the relegation playoff spot.
All to play for then in Dublin 13 on Saturday.
Tullamore (6th) v Skerries (4th), Spollanstown
Two former junior clubs who made the jump to the Ulster Bank League come head to head on Saturday and there is plenty at stake.
There’s just a point between them in the table and with a shot at promotion on the line this could be a cracking game.
Hard to call but we’ll go with home advantage for the win.
