Brian O'Driscoll

THE IRISH captain, who made his 100th appearance for Ireland against Wales in the 2010 RBS 6 Nations, has led Ireland to four Triple Crowns (in 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2009) as well as a Championship and Grand Slam.

He has had some magic moments, from his stunning hat-trick against France in 2000 to his wonder try for the Lions against Australia in 2001,but his performances in the 2009 RBS Six Nations – including four crucial tries and a drop goal – surely mark the pinncale of his career.

His performances earned several man of the match accolades and he was voted player of the tournament. Just two months later he capped an incredible season by playing a huge part in Leinster’s Heineken Cup triumph and was named as Rugby World magazine’s World Player of the Decade.

Brian is Ireland's record try scorer and in 2011 he broke Ian Smith’s 78-year-old
Championship try scoring record with his 25th Six nations

He was named named as Rugby World magazine’s World Player of the decade.
