Ireland's record points scorer, O’Gara won his 100th cap against South Africa in the first rugby international at the Aviva Stadium.
The RBS Six nations top points scorer in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009, he is also the Heineken Cup’s record points-scorer.
He landed the crucial drop goal against England to seal victory in February
2009, while he famously repeated the feat when landing the Grand Slam winning drop goal against Wales.
O'Gara has also helped steer Munster to two Heineken Cups and won an All Ireland League title With Cork Constitution.
Ronan passed 1,000 test points mark against Wales in 2011.
