Caleb Powell

Senior Vice President

Originally from Nenagh, Caleb Powell was educated at and later Deputy Headmaster of The King's Hospital. Having taught Geography and served as Deputy Head for 20 years, Caleb retired only to take up a position as External Teaching Supervisor for the Higher Diploma in Education at N.U.I. Maynooth.

He has been a member of Bohemian's R.F.C. (U.L. Bohs), Dublin University and Lansdowne F.C. and was Captain of all three. During his time with Bohs they won the Munster cup twice and in 1965 he was captain of Lansdowne's Leinster cup winning side.

In 1993- 1994 he served as President of Lansdowne F.C. He was elected to the Leinster Branch in 1976 and was President in 1997-8. He was elected to the Union Committee in 1998-99. He currently sits on the Domestic Game Committee, the School's Standing Committee, the Age Grade Committee, the Age Grade Working Party and the Third Level Review Working Party.
